Proper belt tension is important in any application, and air handling is no different. If the belt's too slack, it allows slippage which leads to failure. Too much tension shortens the life of the belt. Use of a T-Max Rotary Tensioner teamed with a PowerMax Idler Pulley can extend the life of the belt and get full performance from the drive.

Molded of corrosion resistant, lightweight glass-reinforced nylon composite material, our driveN pulleys have an insertion-molded sintered metal drive hub for high strength. They’re highly cost-effective and ideal in extreme temperatures, and interchangeable with industry-standard "AK" pulleys.
For direct drive ventilation fans, use Trantorque GT to mount the fan directly to the motor. The mechanical shrink fit eliminates fretting and corrosion associated with a keyed mount, and the single locking nut provides easy assembly and disassembly. Precision machining reduces runout (and therefore vibration!) and the self-centering design eliminates cocking on the shaft, ensuring perpendicular installation.
